Comment: After retiring from teaching, my husband and I moved up north to Lake, about 15 miles NW of Clare. We are now spending the winter months in Davenport, Florida. We are about 15 miles from Disney World there. We enjoy going to Disney and also volunteering there. I took up quilting when I retired in 1998. That is another full time job according to my husband. We also travel to places in the U.S. that we have never been. We just returned from a two-week trip to the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, petrified forest, painted desert, etc. It was wonderful. It still amazes us how different the other parts of the U.S. are compared to Michigan. I am looking forward to seeing my classmates in August.
